About the Author/Principal
The author, editor and principal of the content that appears on this web site is Todd D. Davis, who is a world traveler who has spent 5 years living abroad and has traveled to all 50 states, 7 Canadian provinces and 25 European, Middle East and Asian Countries. Todd has authored two books and four "smart calendars" which have themes addressing professional and leisure travel, climate change and global warming, aviation and airliner trends, and unique places named in the United States. He has a deep interest in the etymology of words, particularly company names, product names and geographic locations.
Todd has consulted on climate change, carbon footprints, and energy efficiency with energy companies and governments around the world. Most recently he was a project director/principal consultant for DNV GL and Al Ain Distribution Company in the United Arab Emirates where he developed a five year electricity and water DCM plan with a team of five members.
Mr. Davis is adept in working in highly diverse, world countries and cultures. Currently, he is doing selected speaking, workshops, consulting, and writing/publishing in his areas of interest which include climate change, energy and water efficiency, voter education, political culture, and American lifestyle.
